Three questions sum up my approach:

1. What does it mean to live a good life (given we are in an ecological emergency)?

2. What is practice-realisation (given that we are enmeshed)?

3. What does it mean to attune to compassion (given that existence is both quantitative and qualitative)?

Hello and Welcome to my simplified site (on the basis that we need to use less data). I'm a philosopher, a writer, and a yoga and meditation teacher, and my aim here is to connect with people who might want to come on retreat with me, or undertake online courses, or existential mentoring, or use whatever resources I can make available, so we can all respond as effectively as possible to the ecological emergency.
My books are Love is Green: compassion as responsibility in the ecological emergency, Philosophy as Practice in the Ecological Emergency: An Exploration of Urgent Matters, Palgrave Macmillan, (forthcoming 2022), and Yoga for Now: embodied philosophy in the ecological emergency.
On this site, I'll make some resources available, and I'll give you ways to contact me. I'll also share details of courses, classes and retreats. Compassionate communication, making connections, and developing resilience are going to be increasingly important strategies for survival. Let's generate ideas together, let's change the story of humanity, let's save ourselves!

Please contact me for information about courses, retreats, mentoring, etc.
