Enjoyed the most magical retreat with Lucy in the Algarve. The daily Yoga and philosophy workshops were invigorating for both the mind and the body. Our group varied from yoga teachers to not so experienced and everyone was able to participate fully. The excursions and travel were wonderfully arranged by Robert, the trip to the deserted island a particular highlight. From the arrivals hall in Faro to the transfer on the morning of departure Robert ensure every aspect of the holiday ran smoothly. The accommodation was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. Although we were doing yoga at 8am every morning I came away from this holiday rested and feeling fabulous. Lucy is a gifted teacher and philosopher who gets you thinking and moving so effortlessly, as though teaching by osmosis. I look forward to attending some of her workshops over the summer months in Ireland. We had the most wonderful group of participants and I left with wonderful memories of time spent with a great group of beautiful souls. I highly recommend taking the plunge and participating in a retreat with Lucy if you get the chance, your body will thank you.

From the moment I arrived I was in good hands, Robert was fantastic and made sure everything was in place. I arrived early and needed some rest, the venue and ambience were perfect for that, the organisation was top class, the staff were fantastic and Lucy was professional and warm and engaging throughout.I learn so much about myself and although I have done many retreats and trainings, what made this unique was the focus on bringing together philosophy, the love and desire to really understand, appreciate and transform our situation with the practice of embodied moving meditation through yoga.We delved deep into the way we embody and how we can be a conduit for the most beneficial attitudes we can have, I will definitely go on retreat with Lucy and Robert again and I highly recommend this expertly crafted event

I recently attended my first Yoga retreat with Emerald Isle Tours, in April 2022.This was grade A experience from start to finish with Tour Operator Robert Heuston who made sure that everyones needs were cared for , a true professional at his job.The facilities of the Hilton Vilamoura are exactly as it says on the tin, 5 stars and more, Top Class all the way.And then there was the yoga,I am a novice in this field, and thought I was out of my depth, but our excellent Yoga instructor Lucy Weir made me and everyone feel completely at home, and adapted the classes and exercises to everyones abilities.I even learned a littlePhilosophy from Lucy, who has an excellent knowledge of the yoga world. Thanks Lucy for a very enjoyable retreat. I would highly recommend this wellness holiday

Lovely yoga practice with Lucy in Puerto de Santiago. My friend and an I were inexperienced but Lucy guided us through a gentle but very effective session. She explained and demonstrated the various positions and movements very clearly. Highly recommended

I had the pleasure recently of spending an enjoyable day at a yoga retreat run by Lucy. I couldn’t believe how quickly the day passed, it was well structured and we enjoyed a mixture of asanas, meditation into mindfulness, some time spent drawing or writing, a walk in nature some were brave and even had a swim in the sea.Lucy is a wonderful yoga teacher and I was privileged to have her as my teacher when I first started practicing yoga over a decade ago.Namaste 🙏

A lovely day retreat in West Cork with Lucy and my first experience of yoga. Lucy is a great teacher and I would certainly recommend her. I found the day both invigorating and relaxing, a mixture of movement, meditation and explanation. I could tell Lucy has a great deal of experience and everything is taught with freedom and ease.

Lucy has a very engaging quality. She relates her vast knowledge of yoga philosophy and her own philosophy through her yoga and meditation sessions in such a calm and clear manner. She is always open to others opinions. Her classes are a joy to attend.

I cannot recommend Lucy Weir enough. She has been training on our 200 hour yoga alliance teacher training for some years now and we have all learnt so much for her. She is so inspiring and her depth of knowledge and wisdom is beyond anything I have ever witnessed. If you take a course with Lucy you will learn more than you could imagine. Thank you Lucy for all you do for us and for the ecological emergency and to save the planet.

If you’re thinking about joining me on a course, retreat or for classes, you can expect to experience the following:

A reflective practice that ensures you deepen your personal understanding of interconnection and a revision of agency;

A deeply relaxing yoga nidra that works through letting go of all effort to perceive the nature of awareness and allows you to become a conduit for compassion;

Personal transformation that will empower you in your work to create transformation for the benefit of all the systems we interconnect within;

A sense of connection with other participants, and, I hope, with me, and an understanding through experience of the relationship between self, other, and the more-than-human world.
